*etnika will grace the local stage for the first time in the eight years. *etnika’s Footnotes will be held at the Blue Box Theatre at Msida on the 21^st and 22^nd August at 9pm. Footnotes will consist of *etnika’s best songs through a more contemporary approach while still incorporating the same energy and enthusiasm that have become synonymous with the band’s performances.

The new *etnika offers a sincere, yet passionate, musical experience, free from fanfare and special effects. The band still uses traditional instruments and melodies. Its 6-piece setup includes the oud and biambo, fifra (Maltese cane flute) and flamenco footwork, double bass and Maltese lullabies
