Leeuwarden, the city which is sharing the European Capital of Culture 2018 title with Valletta, brings you the ‘Sailing on the Grass’ seminar which seeks to bring together artists, audiences, film screenings and media events. The seminar is part of the ‘Sailing on the Grass’ series, an assortment of multimedia projects and events being organised as part of Leeuwarden’s run up to 2018.

The seminar’s purpose is to promote discussion among present, and future, audiences. Such a discussion leads to better understanding on how to construct, and promote, new and attractive events. International guests, such as a number of European film festival professionals, and professionals from different cultural sectors will also contribute to the brainstorming session.

The ‘Sailing on the Grass’ seminar will be held at the City Theatre De Harmonie, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands on Friday, 7^th November, 2014.
