We are looking for fun, energetic, lively people of all ages, interests, nationalities, backgrounds and localities to take part in this unique photoshoot experience!
Esteemed artist Willi Dorner together with photographer Lisa Rastl are coming to Malta to shoot the images that will feature as a visual art exhibition entitled ‘Square’ in June/July 2018.
We are looking for 36 people for each day of the photoshoot to form the ‘Square’ that will be the focus of the final exhibition. You will be positioned and directed by Mr. Dorner and Ms. Rastl in a range of unusual and poignant locations across Malta and Gozo.
The square represents the densely populated living unit and will visualize the existing dimensions and relations to buildings, areas and territories. The human body in relationship to its built surroundings/ environment. In ‘Square’ it’s not the single body anymore that stands against it, but a uniform and anonymized group, dressed in black and white. The faces will be covered by a white sheet of paper and the group of people will be symbolizing anonymous, standardized and well-ordered inhabitants.
We encourage you to book your place as a participant in this photoshoot for as many days as you can. A packed lunch will be provided for Saturdays and Sundays.
A meeting point will be arranged for transport pickups at the start of each day and participants will be shuttled around from location to location before being dropped back at the meeting point.
Clothing: Long sleeved white shirt and black trousers and shoes.
