Teatru Manoel brings you an impressive multi-media opera that revolves around the oldest Maltese poem in existence, ‘Kantilena’ by Pietru Caxaro. Produced by Reuben Pace, this opera reimagines Caxaro’s historical piece of poetry to suit a contemporary context with the use of modern Maltese poetry written by Charles Flores and Simone Inguanez, contemporary art music produced by Reuben Pace, and choreography by Francesca Tranter.

Il-Kantilena Karba ta’ 500 sena, Karba ta’ Żmienna will be held at the Teatru Manoel on Friday 5^th December at 11:30 and Saturday 6^th December at 20:00.
