Registrations for the 2018 edition titled Social Practices in Curating and Contemporary Art are open until the 30th June 2018.
The Curatorial School is intended for practitioners and students in a variety of related areas like the fine arts, art education, arts administration, curation and history of art. Participants are offered a programme of lectures and workshops and will also be able to present their curatorial ideas or their own artwork and receive feedback from invited speakers. This intensive one-week curatorial programme features international guest speakers from various institutions.
The 2017 edition was called Researching Curatorial Practices, which asked: What kind of research do curators of contemporary art engage in?
The theme for the third edition of the Curatorial School was Curating the New, and focused on the meaning of the ‘new’ in contemporary art and curatorial practices.
