The Trail is a walking tour of pop-up open artists’ studios at multiple host venues across Sliema and St Julian’s, endorsed by the Valletta 2018 Foundation. The first of its kind in Malta, this free public event is an opportunity to meet more than fifty artists at work, to share in their creative process and discover their best-kept studio secrets.

The Trail will include digital and photographic art, sculpture, fine art, ceramic, wood and metalwork, virtual reality, video-game, fashion, costume and surface pattern design, printmaking, artisan crafts, designer handcrafted jewellery, illustration, graphic, architectural and product design, 3D printing and carving and various other visual art forms.

Artists will include professional and part-time creatives, students and school children from the Maltese and international communities. The Trail will offer a choice of hands-on and spectator experiences for residents and visitors alike, to photograph, discuss, try or buy.
