Teatru Manoel Youth Theatre (TMYT) is inviting actors and singers for the below audition.

FIRST AUDITION DATE: 24th September

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Auditionees are requested to prepare a monologue in English and a 60-second a capella singing piece. (NB: All auditions will be recorded for selection purposes).

SESSION TIME: Every Saturday from 15:00 till 18:00.

CONTENT:

First session will be held on Saturday 7th October through to December – leading to a TMYT Showcase happening on the weekend of the 9th and 10th December, led by Tony Edridge.

Sessions will resume in the first week of January, working towards the production of HUSH, directed by Denise Mulholland, and performed between Wednesday 21st March to Tuesday 27th March.

Sessions will resume on the 7th April through to the 10th May, led by Tony Edridge and finishing off with a performance scheduled for Summer 2018.

ELIGIBILITY:

TMYT will once again be opened to Malta-based 16-25 year olds (born between 1993-2002). Members who have joined TMYT no earlier than January 2015 will be eligible but will be requested to re-audition.

MEMBERSHIP FEE:

Members are required to pay a fee of €200 and sign a Contract of Commitment.
