Orfeo & Majnun, an interdisciplinary project in two parts which connects the Middle Eastern legend of Layla and Majnun and the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, is looking for Music Instructors to teach groups of their own students one, two or all of the musical interpretations below, which will be featured in the Orfeo & Majnun large-scale Parcours/Parade around the streets of Valletta.

Music teachers/music schools are to choose one of the three songs below, to interpret as they wish, with a group of their students. The performance is taking place on the 27th October, and will also include a rehearsal on the 26th of October. Applicants must be available on both dates.

Any sort of style or interpretation to the songs – be it traditional, rap, pop, rock – is welcome. Interpretations should be done in French, Arabic or English.
