Pilsen, the Czech Republic’s European Capital of Culture 2015, is all about circuses this year. Apart from opening Cirkulárium, a circus centre in Pilsen where both child and adult circus performers entertain the public, Pilsen’s also organising ten fun circus productions throughout the year titled the “Le Cirque Nouveau” series.

Le Cirque Nouveau’s opening performance is by Swiss tightrope walker and acrobat David Dimitri who hails from the famed Dimitri clown family. The family-friendly performance will take place on the 21^st January 2015 in a tent erected in Pilsen’s Republic Street.
