Pilsen, the Czech European Capital of Culture of 2015, and Mons, the Belgian European Capital of Culture of 2015, are collaborating together on a theatre production named I Will Turn 20 in 2015. Performed in English, Czech and French, the production focuses on the experiences, dreams, wishes and ideas of young people from the two European Capitals of Culture.

With the help of a theatre director, 25 Belgian students from Ecole de Futur and 25 Czech students from Gymnázium Františka Křižíka are working together on a play which will be performed in both Pilsen and Mons during 2015.

Artistic meetings are held in both cities, allowing students to be fully exposed to each city’s culture and environment. Other than acting as a cultural learning experience, the meetings also teach students new theatre skills and further develop existing ones.
