għajn-eye-three is a Maltese play written and directed by Simon Bartolo, starring John Suda, Roderick Vassallo, Coryse Borg, Gilbert Formosa and Jamie Cardona. The play revolves around four secondary school teachers and their peculiar relationship with their student Jeremy Fiteni, who helped them get through their own personal issues. Jeremy helped the Headmaster quit smoking, encouraged Mr Orlando to come out as gay, helped Mr Gatt to accept his flaws and also helped Ms Saliba calm down after her boyfriend dumped her.
Now, something strange has happened – Jeremy has disappeared. No one knows where he went. What’s also even more bizarre is that there is no record of him attending the school. Could he be a ghost?
għajn-eye-three is on at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity on the 11th and 12th April at 8pm.
