Jordan-based artist Deema Shahin is back in Malta following her residency in the Artist-in-Residence programme with Valletta 2018 and Spazju Kreattiv. Shahin’s research focused on mothers who put their dreams on hold so that those around them such as friends and family can achieve theirs.

In November, Shahin met mothers from Malta and Gozo. This month, she’s back to share the results of that research in the form of a visual arts exhibition running from the 7th April – 28th April at the Ministry for Gozo, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo.
