Under the direction of Peter Stark, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and flute soloist Rebecca Hall will be performing musical pieces by some of the biggest names of the Baroque period as part of the Valletta International Baroque Festival 2015 progamme of events. Pieces include Tombeau de Couperin by Ravel, Renaissance Flute Concertu by Lukas Foss, Shostakovich’s Pastorale e Capriccio and R Strauss’ Dance suite from keyboard pieces by Francois Couperin Op. 107.
