The Kumpanija Teatrali Dumnikani Beltin is once again organising a play based on the passion of Christ for Holy Week. Titled Ma Tintemm Qatt, this play, now in its 42nd edition and one of the oldest in Malta, is directed by Frank Micallef and written by Jonathan Laferla. It revolves around the lives of six characters, who were quite close as children, but who later on in life grew apart – although they do meet at crucial moments. One of these children, named Jesus, is from Nazaret and his path lead to Mount Golgota – but who were the other five? Which paths did they take?
The performances will take place on Monday 21st March and Wednesday 23rd March at 7.15pm, as well as on Friday 25th March at 9.30am, at the San Duminku hall underneath the Basilica of St Dominic, Merchants Street, Valletta. For more information, please visit the Facebook event page or call 99451909.
