After last year’s success ‘Kristu fi Strada Stetta’, Carlos Farrugia and Joseph Galea have once again teamed up to work on a production for Holy Week. This year’s production, named ‘Passjoni tad-Duluri’, will be on at St James Cavalier’s Theatre between the 17th and 20th March, 24th March and 25th March.
The play features three principal characters: Veronica Farrugia, Antonella Galea Loffreda and Sarah Camilleri, who play three mothers going through their own passion and suffering. The production explores how pain in times of suffering is somewhat relieved when one speaks about their problems. These women will be telling their story, sharing it with the audience. The play also features other roles played by Joseph Galea, who penned the play, Carlos Farrugia, who is also directing the play, Raisa Borg and Ryan Galea.
Passjoni tad-Duluri is being organised with the support of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, the Valletta Local Council and Spazju Kreattiv. The play is on at 8pm from the 17th-20th March and 24th March. On the 25th March, the play will be on at 10.30am. This production is part of the Valletta 450 cultural programme.
