The Valletta 2018 Foundation is endorsing “Recycled Christmas Crafts”, an exhibition of Christmas crafts organised by the Valletta women’s group “Ftit Ħin Għalina” – part of the Appoġġ Valletta Community Service. The group is comprised of 10 participants, and all the crafts displayed will be handmade and made up of recycled material.
The event aims to promote Valletta’s local talent as all the members of the organizing group hail from Valletta. Visitors will have the opportunity to assist in workshops, which could help them acquire new creative and artistic skills. The crafts are made from recycled materials and the workshops will give people ideas for Christmas decorations made from recycled materials.
The event is going to be held on the 5th and 6th December in the St Augustine’s Hall, Old Mint Street, Valletta, and opening hours are 9am – 3pm.
