Staged in Gozo’s magnificent central Citadel, this is a one-day festival endorsed by the Valletta 2018 Foundation, which celebrates the best of science and technology innovation, research and practice on the Maltese islands. It’s free, fun and for all the family. You can take part in the exciting experiments and demonstrations on display in our Science Fair; experience virtual reality or take a coding workshop; watch science comedy or let your brain make music; discover the mathematics behind great art; explore the skies, land and seas; voice your opinions in a topical debate or simply listen to an inspiring talk and wander around the exhibitions.
There is something for everybody and even a section where you can sign up to get involved through further study, career or starting your own business. Within the atmospheric surroundings of the medieval Citadel, we bring you an exciting glimpse of the future contained within the splendour of our historic past. The event is sponsored by EcoGozo and supported by Victoria Council, Malta Chamber of Scientists, Malta Council of Science and Technology, University of Malta, MCAST and a host of local organisations engaged in science, technology and engineering.
Science in the Citadel will be taking place on the 28th of April 2018 between 10am-9pm in Victoria, Gozo.
