On 20th March a Storyworks puplic seminar will be held at St James Cavalier Cinema, under the title “The next stage – taking the script to the market” on Sunday 20th March at 9am. The seminar will be delivered by Transmedia producer-consultant Jean Pierre Magro and Mary Kate O Flanagan, who delivers training in screenwriting through project development to industry professionals worldwide with the participation of Malta Film Commission and Arts Council Malta.
Storyworks is the result of a collaboration between Valletta 2018, Malta Film Commission, Arts Council Malta and Spazju Kreattiv.
The Storyworks programme focuses on developing film scripts with small groups of aspiring film producers and screenwriters over the span of four years.
The ultimate goal for each project is funding and production.
