Two public lectures organised by the History of Art Department will take place this week on Wednesday 15 April and Friday 17 April.

On 15th April, the History of Art Department’s Carravaggio Studies Programme is organising a lecture titled ‘Reni, Guercino, Algardi and the artistic patronage of the Boncompagni Corcos’ which  will be delivered by Dr Guendalina Serafinelli at Gateway Hall D1 at 5pm at the University of Malta campus.

On Friday 17th April, Dr Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci will be delivering a lecture titled ‘Dun Karm and Caruana Dingli: the looming of Maria tal-Bajd’ at Dar l-Ewropa, St Paul’s Street, Valletta. The lecture, which is being organised in collaboration with the Akkademja tal-Malti, will be given in Maltese.
