For the first time ever, Valletta will be hosting a beach volley event in the centre of Malta’s capital city, Valletta, in the iconic St. George’s Square. Surrounded by the Grandmaster’s Palace, the Main Guard and other key Valletta landmarks, spectators can enjoy the fascinating sport of beach volley whilst being in with a chance to win fun prizes during the event.

The Valletta Beach Volley in the City activity will span over a week and will consist of a male and female national beach volleyball tournament featuring the top teams from around the Maltese Islands. During the mornings beach volleyball demonstrations and fun games will take place, compered by some of Malta’s best presenters and TV personalities. An event for kids will be held during the weekend.

The event organized by the Valletta Volleyball Club in collaboration with the Valletta 2018 Foundation and also supported by the Malta Tourism Authority, Sportmalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee.
