Artistic Director Special Events

Artistic Director of Special Events Mario Philip Azzopardi is responsible for the five Special Events for 2018 namely the Opening Ceremony, the Valletta Pageant of the Seas (2016 and 2018), a contemporary Opera addressing refugees, a visual arts Closing Event and Film Malti, a local film coproduction with PBS. The team includes Antoine Farrugia – Production Manager, Alexander Kitcher – Line Producer/Technical Coordinator, Francesca Galea, Executive Assistant and Myra Baldacchino – Assistant Coordinator.
