ŻfinMalta dancers and different communities unite to share movement and creativity throughout this outreach residency programme that focuses on inclusivity. The programme encourages physical activity and participation in dance and builds awareness of dance among new audiences. Over eight short residencies with different communities – which may include patients in hospital, day care centres, youth centres, and other organisations – two members of the company deliver guided workshops. Participants are encouraged to create their own movement material during these workshops, culminating in the performance of an informal short dance that can be shared with family and friends.
