Since then MDM has established a stable cult following that attracts a large number of foreign attendees and has been voted among the Top 10 international heavy metal festivals of the year. To commemorate its 10th edition, MDM will be roping in an enhanced line-up featuring underground local and foreign bands; a mix that includes upcoming acts looking to attract new audiences, as well as some of the leading names on the international underground metal scene.

As Valletta celebrates its year as European Capital of Culture, the 2018 edition of MDM is set to expand its audience reach and metal network further than ever before.
