The Agricultural Fest of Dingli will take place on Sunday the 1st May, starting at 8 am.

The Ħad-Dingli Local Council constantly encourages the promotion of the Maltese Islands’ local traditional aspects, in particular that of Ħad-Dingli. An event such as this showcases what the village has to offer in terms of culture, agriculture, gastronomy, tradition and the ecology, set in quaint landscape of the locality. Visitors benefit from a unique agricultural experience, where they observe and take part in traditional agricultural practices, which unfortunately, are being phased-out due to various technological developments.

There will be several shows and attractions including various craftsmanship and artisan stalls, a market selling local fruits and vegetables, kids area, petting area, food stalls and sheep and goat competitions, dog show, poultry and rabbit show as well as a horse show. Children will also be able to observe the traditional kite making. All this together with Maltese traditional dishes prepared on site, make the activity a unique agricultural experience.
