Do you as an establishment, want to be a part of a new sustainable network contributing to positive change?

The Valletta 2018 Foundation in collaboration with Global Green Events, are calling out to develop a new network of sustainable drinking outlets and eateries in Valletta and the surrounding area. Our aim is to commence the promotion of a new culture of operators who are adopting responsible practices, conscious sourcing, and who will through progressive commitments to change contribute to long term sustainable legacy.

The Foundation will be promoting the sustainable database throughout the year, and will be working with other influential stakeholders to ensure any positive changes within the industry will be recognized and supported well beyond 2018.

Each establishment will receive:

  • Listing on the Sustainable Eats and Treats social media page and other platforms

  • A promotional video highlighting the establishment of the new network

  • Promotion through stakeholders

  • A 2 hour free sustainability audit by Sustainability Consultant Gayle Murphy

  • A follow up report with key focus areas and strategies to move forward

  • Certification based on the level of achievement endorsed by Valletta 2018, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Climate Change and Global Green Events that can be displayed within the establishment

The criteria for participating in this recognized network offers a three tiered structure of recognition. The recognized tier of rating is below:
