The Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society is uniting with the Valletta 2018 Foundation on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of Maltese composer Nicolò Isouard, to present a Vocal and Instrumental Music Concert devoted to the work of this composer.

The Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society is a living monument to this composer and is the only Philharmonic Society on the Maltese Islands to be named and dedicated to a Maltese composer.

This concert will be held on Thursday 25th October 2018, at St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral (the Anglican Church) in Valletta. Entrance is free, but places are limited and thus advance tickets will be issued to the public. Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Whoever would like to attend this concert, may book through the Society’s website (http://www.nicoloisouardmosta.org/).

The band will play a variation of music composed by Nicolò Isouard based on arrangements for the band by the Honorable head of the society, Maestro Victor Zammit.
