The organisation Les Recontres is organising  a conference in Mons as part of La Rencontre de Mons 2015 which will address the topic of ‘Virtual Culture, real responsibilities: which concrete applications today?’ This conference brings together professionals, intellectuals, researchers, artists as well as local and regional elected officials that are in charge of culture.

In this day and age, culture and digital technologies are interlinked, and it is this relationship that this conference seeks to address from both a legal perspective and also from the artistic perspective, specifically how artistic initiatives are morphing thanks to digital culture.
