After delivering a stunning performance in the ruins of the Royal Opera House in 2006, Ballet d’Europe is once again returning to our shores. This time around, they’re performing two exceptional works, FOLAVI (2008) and Complicités (2012), at Pjazza Teatru Rjal on the 1st and 2nd August at 9pm. Both these works are choreographed by Ballet d’Europe’s founder Jean-Charles Gil. FOLAVI, a play on words, is a performance in which Gil gives dance a voice with words; the performance transitions from dreams to reality. Complicités, for its part, is about the richness of encounters. Five talented dancers, two original performances – don’t miss out!
