BLITZ, together with the support of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, is organising a public lecture titled ‘Nothing to See Here’. That talk will be delivered by Dr Daniel Rubinstein this Saturday 13th June at 5pm. The talk takes Gilles Deleuze’s observation as a point of departure than ‘representation is a site of transcendental illusion’. This talk explores the possibility of non-representational visual practice.
Dr Rubinstein is a photography theorist, philosopher and artist, and has published on a variety of topics such as New Media aesthetics, art after metaphysics, as well as the conversion of matter into 1s and 0s. He is the course leader for MA Photograpgy at Central Saint Martins, London.
Entrance is free but space is limited. Please reserve your seat if you’d like to attend this interesting talk.
