The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, presents, the event, “Stjepko Gut revisits the Great American Songbook”, under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci – An evening with Stjepko Gut (trumpet), Sandro Zerafa (guitar), Oliver Degabriele (double-bass)

Sandro Zerafa, Malta’s most renowned jazz export teams up with Stjepko Gut, eminent jazz trumpet player and one of the greatest exponents of the 50s jazz idiom. Together they will revisit the great American songbook and also some Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk compositions in a drummer-less trio featuring also Maltese bass player Oliver Degabriele.

The event will be held at Splendid, Strada Stretta, Valletta on Saturday 20th May, 2.00PM.
